About Us

Our Story

After more than 50 years in BC, we were ready for a change — a quieter pace, a tighter community, and a place to truly put down roots. We found all of that in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, and we haven't looked back.

Our passion for handcrafted woodworking followed us here, and so did our love of backyard BBQ and grilling. Weekend smoke sessions, slow-cooked ribs, and the kind of meals that bring people together around the table — that's the life we live, and it's the life our boards are built for.

What started as a love for the craft became Sawdust Studio Canada. Every board we make is one of a kind. The intricate patterns — Herringbone, Pinwheel, Flower, and Cube — are cut, assembled, and finished entirely by hand. Whether you're carving a holiday roast, slicing a brisket fresh off the smoker, or serving up a backyard feast, you won't find another board quite like it anywhere in the industry.
