As with all natural wood projects there are do's and don'ts.
Here are ours:
Do.....serve whatever you would like on it
Do.....wipe with a clean damp cloth only
Do.....renew finish with a food safe board wax periodically*
Don't..... submerge or soak in water
Don't..... use chemicals or detergents on it
Don't..... put in dishwasher
Like all other natural wood products, knife use can result in marks on product.
* Routine application of a board butter will help with keeping your board healthy.
Not much is needed, a little goes a long way.
